TG4 Television Appearance-Canuinti Ceoil 21st OCT 10.00 p.m.

Canuinti Ceoil is a new music series featuring regional styles and the importance of keeping these alive and passing them on.
Programme on 21st Oct is set in Co Clare, presented by Aine Hensey and features many well known Clare musicians. On this programme Brid is joined by her two daughters Eibhlis O Brien on uilleann pipes and Deirdre O Brien on tin whistle to play a selection of reels which was recorded in Queally's Pub, Miltown Malbay earlier this year. Brid also plays a selection of jigs with friend and neighbour Seamus O Rochain who plays uilleann pipes. Thiis was recorded in Dromoland Castle in the spring.

Bríd was one of the local musicians who paid tribute to concertina player Kitty Hayes on the recent TV programme on TG4. Bríd spoke about her association with Kitty, and was featured playing the flute in a session with Kitty which was recorded in The Crosses of Annagh last Spring.

Ceoltóirí Laichtin Naofa, the young teenage band from Bríd's classes will be the entertainers at this years "TRAD BREAKFAST" in Tubridy's Lounge, Dunbeg on Sunday 29th October 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m
Bríd and her family together with Dympna O'Sullivan will also provide music on Monday 30th October in Dunbeg in .......Pub from 8.00 to 10.00 p.m.

Brid was one of the artists travelling on the first ever Mediterranean Cruise which was organised by Enjoy Travel. Brid was playing flute with the renowned FOUR COURTS CEILI BAND on the cruise. Entitled " The Craic on the Cruise" that is exactly what it was all about; with non stop entertainment, dance workshops, cabaret evenings with the finest of musicians and excellent cuisine at all times of the day!

Bríd O'Donohue was one of the guest speakers this at OAC Course in Spanish Point.
On Saturday 6th May 2006 Bríd gave a presentation on Music from 1970 to date in the Miltown locality.
At the end of her lecture she was joined by her five children Seán- on flute, Eibhlís on uilleann pipes, Deirdre on harp, Liam on concertina and Sinéad on fiddle and tin whistle to play a selection of tunes.

CONCERT IN GLÓR -FRIDAY 9th JUNE 2006

Bríd was one of the four Clare music teachers invited to host a concert in Glór.
The concert will took place on Friday 9th June
Invited guest musicians joined Brid on the night - fiddle player PADDY CANNY, concertina player KITTY HAYES and piper PETER LABAN
Paddy Canny was joined by his two grandchildren Gerard and Eimear Coughlan ( who are whistle pupils of Bríd) to play together at this concert.
Brid has been teaching at Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy for thirty years and has been running her own Winter Music Classes for nearly twenty years.
Pupils from her classes performed playing tin whistles, flutes and a wide variety of instruments.
Irish step dancers from the group also gave a display of step dancing.

First session of Ceol na nÓg for this term was held on Friday 28th September at Community Centre, Miltown Malbay - 9.00 - 10.15. Everyone had a great night swopping tunes, chatting and dancing sets!!
A great opportunity for young musicians to gather together to play music, dance chat and have fun! All musicians welcome!!!
