Bríd O'Donohue, Traditional Irish Tin Whistle & Flute

O'Brien Family

The Music Continues...

The family grew up in a home where music classes and music sessions were part of everyday life. It just seemed natural that each one of them started playing...

"Sessions can happen unexpectedly at any time in our house, when musicians come to visit or when we get together ourselves to play. Now some of the family have moved away to work and college I appreciate it even more when we are all at home and get the opportunity to play together. I enjoy hearing the new tunes they have learned and enjoy seeing things going full circle.... with me sometimes in the reverse role, learning some of their tunes from them..."
